Culinary cunning comes together
for a gourmet Grand Prix
All the tebasaki, or chicken wings, from around Japan put their hat in the ring for a gourmet Grand Prix competition. This year, 16 eateries take part, including two former hall of famers. Delight in the delectable dishes before your eyes.
The tenth anniversary is a festival for the Three Great National Chicken Breeds: The Nagoya Cochin Chicken of the competition's venue, Aichi Prefecture; Kagoshima Chicken of Kagoshima Prefecture; and Hinai Chicken of Akita Prefecture. Cuisine using these three delicacies comes together for a first-ever such festival in Japan. Eat your fill as a show of gratitude to the robust flavors.
The event stage also acts as the... well... stage for three days of themed entertainment. Enjoy educational fun during the Decarbonized Future Labo at Angel Square to the north of the venue and Gourmet Park Aichi at the southern Light Square. An entire day of this flavorful festival awaits you and your family—admission free of charge!
