This is a historic festival that has been held at Susaki Shrine since the Edo period and is held over two days on the third Saturday and Sunday of July every year. The lights of over 1,000 lanterns create a fantastic atmosphere. Another highlight of this festival is the ""Wakuguri"" ritual, where you pass through a ring made of thatch to ward off illness and misfortune.
