Age-old steps to creating age-old beauty
Long ago, dozens of textile dyers had their workshops along the Kuro River, where they would rinse out the glue used with products dyed in the Yuzen style. During the same season, cherry blossoms bloom as the rinsing of Nagoya-sylte Yuzen fabrics is recreated in the city's Kita Ward. A stage set on the water offers eventgoers jazz and traditional koto zither performances.
