Oasis21 iCenter Hands-On Event
(Arimatsu-Narumi Shibori tie-dyeing)
Oasis21 can help you get a deeper sense of Nagoya through one of its traditional crafts.
The city of Nagoya has a rich dyeing tradition going back eons, such as its Arimatsu/Narumi Shibori, Nagoya Kuromontsukizome, and Nagoya Yuzen styles. Try your hand at Arimatsu-Narumi Shibori tie-dyeing during workshops at Oasis21's iCenter each month. Small children too are welcome, and guidance is even available in English, so don't miss this chance to learn about Nagoya hands-on.
