All-Japan Gyoza Festival Spring 2025 in Moricoro Park
This event has ended.
So, what is the All-Japan Gyoza Festival?
The All-Japan Gyoza Festival is a spin-off of the All-Japan Foodie Festival held each year during the consecutive Golden Week holiday and is visited by more than 100-thousand people. Gyoza, or pot stickers, are seen by many as the accent to a good beer enjoyed by an office employee after a tough day of work, but not anymore.
Gyoza are enjoying a new interest by all sorts of people. Often featured on TV, in magazines, and all sorts of other media, these delicious little devils have now made it into the homes of many. And so the All-Japan Gyoza Festival was created to give everyone the chance to find all sorts of potstickers all under one roof.
Popular eateries from the Tokai region in which Nagoya is located as well as other famous gyoza locations like Utsunomiya and Hamamatsu make an appearance with unique versions of the treats showing their bold flavors with ingredients from around Japan as they help to spread the culinary culture of those areas.
The event also serves to bring in many to Aichi Prefecture and promote its rich tourism industry.
