Yattokame Festival DOORS 2024
—Open the Door to Nagoya Culture!—

  • Yattokame Festival DOORS

Walk through the doors of culture

The Yattokame Festival Executive Committee, made up by the city of Nagoya and other parties, sets Nagoya's urban sprawl as the stage for the city's rich historic culture and stories during the beloved Yattokame Festival DOORS Festival. Nagoya Castle, long-standing Japanese restaurants, university campuses, and even the streets around Nagoya come alive during the festival, acting as the doors through which you can enter into an array of intriguing cultural aspects.

Take in all of Nagoya's cultural prowess. Experience traditional performing arts at everyday spots throughout the city and its theaters at Urban Performances, learn with Nagoya as your textbook through Educational Programs, and taste the city's tantalizing flavors via Nagoya's wagashi, or Japanese sweets. A number of pre-events and other programs await you at one of Nagoya's most beloved festivals.
