Arimatsu Temmansha Shrine Autumn Festival

Nagoya's treasures traverse an ancient road
The Arimatsu Temmansha Shrine Autumn Festival's three Hotei, Karako, and Jingu Kogo Floats—designated as tangible folk cultural properties of Nagoya City—parade through the Arimatsu area's ancient Tokaido Road. And once night rolls around, things escalate to a whole new level as all three floats return to their respective towns where they undergo a makeover with some 250 characteristic paper lanterns hung around them before making another procession along the road.
Anyone is free to take part in pulling the floats by their ropes, so make a memory you'll not soon forget!
Note:
• Float procession canceled should rainy weather occur.
