Spring Is in the Air: 2025 Nagoya Flower Viewing Special Feature
The city of Nagoya is full of famous spots boasting a myriad of cherry blossoms—from those with early bloomers and blossoms blooming in a relay of succession to those counted among Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossoms Spots. Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens
The zoo and botanical gardens are also famous for the chance they offer to take pictures of animals among the flowers—a chance only available in spring. From Saturday, April 5 to Sunday, April 13, the Evening Yae Cherry Blossom Walk is held. Certain areas of the botanical garden are open until 8:30 pm with a row of cherry blossoms hanging over the path like a hallway are illuminated. See these Yae cherry blossoms and their unmatched, unique elegence showcased in the night.
