JR Gate Tower's The Crystal Christmas
One of Nagoya's largest Christmas trees
On the first floor of JR Gate Tower stands one of Nagoya's largest Christmas trees; towering at approximately 12 meters high.
Crystal Village—a mysterious village where time stands still—acts as the stage, with its residents awaiting a world full of wishes and desires. Their smiles come together, bringing a sparkle to the world.
Crystal Village tells a heartwarming story accompanied by an original song in the hopes of spreading the world's most magical Christmas.

Endoji Shopping Street's Endoji Illumination!
Curtains of light
Endoji Shopping Street is illuminated by curtains of light extending from the east to west of the arcade as only the beloved area can offer. The east–west view from underneath the arcade is a sure bet, but the silhouette from the side streets too is a spectacular scene.

Dai Nagoya Building's Christmas Illumination 2023
Take in the spectacle of a sparkling Champagne gold illumination and Nagoya Station's nightscape
Approximately 110 thousand or so bulbs and a 4-meter tall Christmas tree illuminate Dai Nagoya Building with a keynote golden color of Champagne for Champagne Gold Christmas. A rooftop garden some 30 meters above ground is illuminated in a dazzling array of lights.

Noritake Garden's Heartful Christmas 2023
A can't-miss, nearly 8-meter-tall tree
A new nearly 8-meter-tall tree acts as the face of Noritake Garden's Heartful Christmas this year. Around the tree, you'll find a 2-meter high Santa Claus, which acts as the symbol of Noritake Garden in winter as well as numerous smaller trees. Once the sun goes down, the lights go on in an illumination which puts the beautiful Noritake Christmas scene in a whole new light.

Meieki Illumination 2023
The Nagoya Station area lights up all at once
Enjoy a simultaneous illumination of Nagoya Station—or "Meieki"—and its surrounding establishments! Those establishments sport Christmas trees and other holiday decorations as well as Christmas song performances, bringing the true spirit of Christmas to the Nagoya Station area.

Horikawa Naya Bridge's Winter Illumination
A waterway steeped in nostalgia
The Horikawa Naya Bridge is illuminated for a limited time in winter between the Nishiki and Tennozaki Bridges' permanent illuminations. The permanent illuminations with amber lighting reminiscent of gas lamps from Japan's Taisho period work with a photo spot at the Naya Bridge's northeast plaza, featuring the Hori River's character, Horigon, as it shimmers in blue for a limited time.

Midland Illumination 2023
Dazzling Champagne gold illumination
The warm glow of Champagne gold lights bring together the whole of the Meieki area, welcoming visitors as they go to and from Nagoya Station.
The spectacle incorporates CO2-free lighting and also uses botanical light, created by the power of microorganisms, in some spots in addition to decorating with ornaments made from recycled plastic, in an eco-friendly display.

Sky Promenade
Giant Flower Video Exhibition
This spectacle was born from a first-time collaboration between nightscape critic Moto'o Marumaru and giant flower artist Megu at the outdoor observation deck Sky Promenade. Gaze upon an giant white urethane flower with a diameter of 250 cm. In addition, a video of the "dreams" of those applying for the chance to be involved are exhibited together with the flower. The surreal projection mapping show works together with the night view of Nagoya from approximately 220 meters above ground and a giant flower piece for a stunning scene.

KITTE Nagoya's Delight Christmas
A delightfully dreamy Christmas Tree
A 10-meter-tall Delight Tree of 66 glowering lanterns made from cloth by Food Textile adorns KITTE Nagoya. The cloth making up the lanterns is dyed using coffee, blueberries, and other foods which were planned to be disposed of and offers an incredible array of natural born colors to shine a warm glow throughout the atrium.
Light shows held during the event period use nearly 10 thousand LED lights in lanterns for a vividly dreamy aura.

Hisaya Odori Park's Winter Illumination
An elegant golden emerald world
Hisaya Odori Park is cocooned in the elegance of gold and emerald colors. The pathway and overpass are decorated with lights for a magical aura you won't experience during the daytime. Pass through a special arch with points of light falling like shooting stars and gaze upon a spectacle of a tree in this extraordinary environment. The colors and productions change regularly, offering a different experience every time you come.

Toyoda Gosei Rink at Oasis21
Nagoya's iceless skate rink
This iceless skating rink rings in its 15th season as an extraordinary and expansive semi-outdoor activity spot. The rink is made with a special plastic substance that allows skaters to slide just as they would over regular ice.
After the sun goes down, sparkling illuminations make for the perfect date or photo op.

Ikeda Park's illumination event rings in its 22nd anniversary this year! This time, the eastern area of the Sakae metropolis and its bustling Joshidaikoji Street are of particular interest. Ikeda Park lies in this area with the Toei-tori and Kawara-dori paths strung up with lights.

A mysterious world of light
This year's illumination feature takes the theme of fairy tale Alice in Wonderland with a wonderland of Champagne gold and lavender illumination and lit-up motif of the white rabbit and his pocket watch creating a fantastic aura around the establishment. The stark size of the main object makes you feel as Alice did when she was shrunk down to a tiny size, and dynamic photo spots enacting famous scenes from the story, like the Card Guards dancing around and springing at Alice, are set up. Also enjoy mysterious mechanisms making the scene change colors and experiential, artistic objects popping right out of the picture book.

Port of Nagoya Sea Train Land's Winter Illumination 2023–2024
Insta-worthy nighttime amusement park
If you're looking for an Insta-worthy spot, the winter Port of Nagoya Sea Train Land is it with fantastic photo ops against a backdrop of an illuminated Ferris wheel and merry-go-round. A starry dome reimagining the night sky greets visitors at the entrance while heart-shaped, dolphin, and other decorations color the inside of the park.

Everyone's favorite port at any time
Port of Nagoya Garden Pier’s temporary garden (Tsudoi Plaza) and the area in front of the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium become illuminated with approximately 135 thousand LED lights. Adding to last year's waterfall of light, center tree, and heart objects, this year features a tunnel of light passing through the waterfall of light and a light corridor!

The first illumination of a symbolic tower in collaboration with the weather forecast and one of the world's largest LEGO® and DUPLO® trees!
LEGOLAND® Japan's symbolic Observation Tower synchs up with the following day's weather forecast to paint the night sky in 5 dazzling colors.
An approximate 10-meter tall, 4-meter-wide colorful Christmas tree made with around 610 thousand LEGO® and DUPLO® Blocks teams up with the entrance's giant Christmas tree, lighting up for a surreal Christmas atmosphere. Over 10 million LEGO® Blocks recreate popular spots around Japan in Miniland, which too takes on the Christmas spirit in its decorations and photo spots only available during the event period.

This year's illumination portrays our world as one where humans shrink to dwarfs, living together with plants and insects as it illustrates houses and townscapes coexisting with nature. One of the largest illumination events in Japan
This event is one of Japan's largest-scale illuminations, cocooning all who come in almost unimaginable sparkling lights. Take in the view of beautifully shimmering pyramids, full of allure and presence, set up with the motif of world heritage sites the Three Great Pyramids.

Laguna Ten Bosch's Lagunasia Light of Life
An illumination illustrating a sea of clouds and the aurora
This year, Lagunasia offers its first expansive and surreal sky illumination portraying the shining light that is life—both that of the skies and earth. Roads too are stunningly lit up using the popular lanterns of previous years as well as theme park attractions and Japan's foremost illuminated arch structure with twelve arches sparkling with over one million light bulbs.
