A three-story property built to look like an old Japanese-style house, standing in a corner of the peaceful Shirakabe residential district. Taiko Honten Chikaramachi has been a beloved shabu-shabu and kaiseki course meal restaurant in Nagoya for over 50 years. Carefully selected premium A5-class Japanese Black wagyu beef and additive-free special sesame sauce using 100% raw sesame seeds. It's not just about being delicious—we care about the safety of our traditional shabu-shabu, and carefully select the seasonal ingredients we use in our kaiseki course meals to make them even better and more enjoyable.
We also offer a good-value daily special lunch and reasonably priced set meals.
