New Business from the Established Kombu Shop, Ishikon, with a Strong Emphasis on Dashi !
On November 26, 2021, over 100 years of experience and expertise, Ishikon has opened a new store where you can enjoy 'kishi-men' with a strong emphasis on dashi.
The broth or tsuyu is made from Hokkaido kombu and Nagoya Cochin, while the noodles or men are made from original wheat produced in Aichi Prefecture. Additionally, they offer a variety of dishes featuring Ishikon's dedication to using ingredients such as Hokkaido tororo kombu, Sanriku seaweed, and Mikawa-Isshiki eel.
Furthermore, you can enjoy freshly prepared side dishes such as "umiaatehawa" "kombu rolls" and "cooked rice with various ingredients" which are highly popular as gifts and Nagoya souvenirs
