Noritake Garden

Opened in commemoration of the 100th year anniversary of the pottery and ceramics maker Noritake. In this premises filled with lush greenery, you can tour a pottery and ceramics factory and museum displaying the Noritake of the good ol' days, as well as paint on patterns for yourself. You can also enjoy shopping for dishes and other tableware in the Noritake-operated store. There is also a restaurant, cafe, and more using Noritake dishes. All buildings are wheelchair accessible. Nagoya City Science Museum

A science museum equipped with NTP Planet, one of the world's largest planetarium domes, with an inside diameter of 35 meters. Along with an exterior design that features the dome's spherical shape, the museum has four large-scale exhibits, including an aurora film viewed in a -30° room and a nine-meter tall man-made tornado. In addition, the building itself acts as an exhibit through its use of solar power and green walls, visible earthquake-resistant structures and elevator mechanisms, and more. See More

Osu Skate Rink

Known by the name "Osu Skate Rink," this central city skating facility has produced notable skaters such as Ito Midori, Asada Mao, Murakami Kanako, and Uno Shoma. Beginners and kids can feel at ease as they skate, holding onto cones for support. Rental shoes with two blades, suitable for shoe sizes ranging from 14cm to 16cm, are available. On weekends and holidays, there are lessons specifically designed for beginners, and on weekdays, the Junior School offers a wide range of courses from basic to figure skating, hockey, and speed skating. Nex Plaza" (Nagoya Expressway Public Relations Information Center)

Facility where both children and adults can have fun while deepening their understanding of the Nagoya Expressway. It introduces the construction and management of the expressway and includes interactive exhibits such as the "Driving Simulation," where visitors can design and experience driving on the expressway. The facility also features detailed construction models, and visitors can book in advance for tours of the traffic control room. See More

Togokusan Fruits Park

A place of nature and history, Mt. Togoku (198 m) is the tallest mountain in the city, and is surrounded by 70 kofun sites. Togokusan Fruits Park is a multipurpose agricultural park at the base of the mountain that uses the rich natural surroundings. In the park there is an orchard where around 900 trees of 17 species of fruit grow, including peaches, Asian pears, and apples. There is a greenhouse where you can see papaya, jackfruit, and other rare tropical fruits, and a fruithouse where you can see exhibits of various sample fruits. Besides these, the park also has a fishing corner, Japanese-style garden, all-season flower garden, a restaurant, and shops. The park is a famous place for weeping cherry blossom trees in the spring. Hoyu Hair Color Museum

Japan's first museum specializing in hair color, the widely known hair coloring company Hoyu opened the Hoyu Hair Color Museum as part of its 100th anniversary commemoration project. The museum highlights the culture and history of hair dyeing in Japan and Hoyu's history and involvement in the field. See More

Yagotosan Koshoji Temple

The impressive presence of the historic Owari Koya Yagotosan Koshoji Temple is a Shingon Sect temple in Nagoya City. It was built in 1688 by Buddhist priest Tenzui Ensho, who received Kukai's five-pronged vajra. It became known as a place of worship for the Owari Tokugawa family after the second lord of the clan, Tokugawa Mitsutomo, began devoting himself to the priest's teachings. The Arimatsu Narumi Shibori Hall is dedicated to preserving and promoting the unique tradition of shibori (tie-dyeing) in this region. It showcases a wide range of shibori products and materials of historical and artistic value, aiming to preserve and develop this craft. Additionally, Arimatsu is renowned for its scenic beauty, being considered the most picturesque stop among the Tokaido Fifty-Three Stations. The town's traditional streetscape, depicted in ukiyo-e prints by famous artists like Hokusai and Hiroshige, still flourishes today, nurturing the culture of shibori and continuing to transmit the beauty of Japan to the present day. SEA LIFE Nagoya is a hands-on aquarium located in the LEGOLAND® Japan Hotel, letting you "see, touch, and learn". Museum Meiji-mura

Preserve and pass on true value. The Museum, Meiji-Mura was opened on March 18, 1965 as an open-air museum for preservation and exhibition of architecture of the Meiji Era. 68 buildings moved to this 100,000 m2 hilly land with a beautiful landscape near Inuyama City and by Irukaike Pond, including national treasures like St. John's Church.
