Details | 11:00 Meet at Cafe Nagonoya in Endoji shopping street. Visit Endonji Temple, home to a very important “secret Buddha statue” presented by ruling Tokugawa Family over 400 years ago. Next, your guide take you to see rooftop shrines, unique culture only in this area. Walking through the traditional storehouse street, immerse yourself in the Samurai Period, visit clog store and kimono store to feel Japanese taste. Getting close to lunchtime, try local famous street foods, such as “korokke”, fried breaded mashed potato and “okonomiyaki”, Japanese savory pancake. See cute Japanese “wagashi” sweets, visit a very local supermarket and learn how locals live, pick up cheap candy and snacks like kids do at penny candy store district.
