Seiu-tei, a tea house almost in the middle of Shirotori Garden, was built with consideration to its angle from where the mid-autumn harvest moon rises. The Moon Gazing Tea Event is held with the garden open at night in relation to the timing of the mid-autumn harvest moon, and participants can enjoy the moon at this tea event from the evening hours on.
*Purchase of tickets beforehand is required to participate in the Moon Gazing Tea Event.
Spot Information
Enjoy a leisurely stroll in a traditional Japanese garden. In the center of the garden is a pond that replicates the Kiso River, originating from the Kiso-Ontakesan flowing into the large sea of Ise Bay.
